We had to move my aunt into assisted living without advance notice. The whole team at Move It Now were great. Scheduling and upfront communication was easy. On the day of the move, Seth and Brian were amazing! They communicated their schedule ahead of arrival. Upon arrival , they prepped and surveyed what was to be moved. They laid down matting to protect the floors, were very careful with all the furniture and quickly packed everything up. Upon arrival at the facility, they got everything set up. Starry Nights20 December 2025Allen and Troy are the BEST!!! My husband and I literally had a sofa set delivered from VC and they sent some terrible 3rd party movers to our home to move the furniture in our basement and they gave up after a few minutes and said it was too big and they couldn’t do it. So my husband and I tried ourselves later on and the sofa got stuck in our stairwell which has a sharp turn afterwards. So that’s why we called Akron Move It Now to see if they can get it “unstuck” out the stairwell and bring it back upstairs so we can just sell it, but they suggested they were confident they could get it past the sharp turn and move it to the basement with no problem. These two guys literally moved both sofas that we were told were “too big” into our basement in less than 5 minutes and I’m not kidding. I could not believe my eyes!!!! Because of them we no longer have to go through the stress of selling our brand new sofa set. I will forever be loyal to this company and I made sure they got a great tip!!! Gavin in front office was awesome to work with and took the time to understand my needs and get the best options for me. He also came out after the fact to look at a little scrape on my stairwell and fixed it up like new, didn't even ask for that, just took care of it automatically. We were also happy some things we were discarding could go to a local family in need. What a great business model. What a breath of fresh air to have these guys when you are going through a difficult move. On top of that, we were only in town for a week to get it all done and they were able to put us in the schedule. Hands down best company we have moved with, and we have moved a lot. They graciously moved my boxes and furniture when it was freezing outside and they had no issues carrying my furniture up a ton of flights of stairs, or down in the basement. I used them previously in the past before this recent move and had nothing but positive experiences with them both times . The movers are friendly, quick, and efficient. 0 155Al, Brian, and Jeremiah worked extremely hard in moving my household. It required long hours on Christmas Eve. Al was great at coordinating his workers and the load on the truck. They 131 2312were all polite and respectful. Unfortunately, although the company had told me that all furniture would be cling wrapped, the crew arrived without any cling wrap. I had part of a smaller roll of thinner cling wrap which they used to wrap a beat up metal shelf full of packed goods. The lack of cling wrapping furniture, or something else resulted in an antique dresser being scratched on the front of two drawers. It also meant that a family heirloom nightstand with decorative feet had a piece broken off. They had plenty of blankets for padding and did a good job of wrapping marble and glass tops of tables and mirrors, so I'm not sure how these happened.Posted on Google

My husband and I aren’t too physically able to handle heavy lifting and a ton of work. We didn’t have to because these fellas totally had us taken care of. We had a 5 man crew and two large trucks. They came to our rescue like calvary leading a charge. These guys worked so hard. There is a HUGE difference between these guys and day laborers from Uhaul. Massive. We have so much stuff and I couldn’t fathom how they were going to get us all done in the time estimate. They did!!! They were carrying multiple things at once. We have not had many item casualties either, so I would also say they were pretty careful too. They respected boxes marked fragile. They also protected the floors and doors. 98% of boxes were put in the rooms they were designated to go. They even assembled our beds!!! That absolutely left us stunned. We were immensely blessed to have this service. We would a thousand percent recommend their business. EDIT: 12/13/24 I wish I could add a second five star review. They recently just help my mother move in with me. Her move was a far longer distance from southern Ohio into Wayne county. Again, top notch movers that I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The admin team continued to answer questions as I was anxious trying to plan a move long distance. To expedite the packing day, a third person assisted. Eric and Jordan were friendly and focused. The worked tirelessly carrying the items over a fairly long walkway. They Packed the truck with almost over 100 boxes, beds, bureaus, desks, and several odd shaped items. I had been cautioned by large moving companies that a small company would have additional charges in the day of. Not true. I was cautioned that a smaller company doesn’t have the necessary equipment. Not true. The guys loaded on Monday and unpacked on Tuesday. We managed to avoid several days of a household in limbo on a truck. I have not used a moving company before. Move It Now has set a high standard if I have to hire movers in the future.Posted on Google

We had a relatively short move from a house in Green to Hartville, but both homes have a ton of stairs and weird narrow doorways. The guys were prompt, easy to communicate with, and very careful when bringing our items in. On day 1 they packed boxes, then day 2 they loaded everything into their trucks and brought it to the new house to unload. They protected our carpets and railings and doors throughout the house, disassembled and reassembled furniture, and had good attitudes the whole time. Thanks for all the help, guys! It was great to have the owner, Ken, stop by as well to not only see how things were going but to also pitch in and help the crew. Extremely happy with Bryan, Sharif, Jeremy, Keith, AJ and Seth. They had great attitudes, very polite and worked well together. It was as fun as a 97-degree day could be. The process from start to finish was solid and the attention to our belongings did not go unnoticed. Schuyler was a great salesman and very responsive throughout. Cheryl stayed in touch and called with a confirmation the day before and validated the morning of. I don’t plan on moving ever again but if I do these guys would be my only call.
